Banana Bread Brownies

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2 large eggs
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2-3 bananas)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Brown Butter Frosting:

1/2 cup butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 tablespoons milk
Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the sour cream and eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
Mix in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
While the brownies are cooling, prepare the frosting. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it turns a golden brown color. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a large bowl, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk. Gradually add the browned butter, beating until smooth and creamy.
Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies. Cut into squares and serve.
