Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Ground Beef and Bacon

Ingredients:

1 box scalloped potatoes
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 can cream of potato soup
1 pack bacon, cooked and crumbled
Shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
Directions:

Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef with the diced onion and seasonings of your choice over medium heat. Once fully cooked, drain any excess fat.
Mix Meat with Cream of Potato: In a bowl, mix the cooked hamburger meat with the cream of potato soup until well combined.
Prepare Scalloped Potatoes: In a 13×9-inch baking pan, place the uncooked scalloped potatoes in an even layer at the bottom of the pan.
Prepare Sauce Mix: Follow the directions on the scalloped potatoes box to prepare the sauce mix in a separate bowl.
Assemble the Dish: Spread the meat and cream of potato mixture evenly over the scalloped potatoes. Pour the prepared sauce mixture over the top.
Bake: Cook uncovered in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes.
Cook Bacon: While the dish is baking, cook your bacon in a skillet until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
Add Bacon and Cheese: After 25 minutes, remove the dish from the oven and top with crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
Finish Baking: Return the dish to the oven for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
